Well the other day at work I was told we where going to be crushing some government cars. We have done this several times before so it wasn't unusual. Normally these are cars they impound for illegal exporting and they usually are nothing special. But when the first truck rolled in it was carrying a 04 expedition and a black silvia.. We also got a Honda integra type r.. And a 2jzgte Toyota aristo.. These cars where seized coming into the states from japan. So the government takes them and tells us to destroy them. They send a guy to come watch and take pictures to asure the cars will not hit the streets.
The Silvia came in with no motor or front and so did the type r. The aristo was totally complete.
This is truley sad for it is illegal to take any parts off and the guy was watching everything. So basicly they ruined 2 beautiful cars and cleaned the planet of more integra(wooo!).

I have more pics I will post later of all the cars and them hitting the crusher.
So enjoy these for now and I hope this ruined your day as much as it did mine. Cause I have s13 cpe so I could have used slot of those sweet sweet jdm parts.

You'd think the government has something more important to do than seize illegal cars and crush them.

Like keeping illegal immigrants out of our country. Not cars.

They take the time to seize cars and crush them, also supervising the whole process to make sure no ones takes parts.

If they parted the cars out ot auction they may actually make some money.

But hey, that's what taxes are for :squint:

The government isn't worried about money, every person with a full time job knows that!

It is truely sad about the cars, I even feel bad about the integra. Meh, maybe not - Only good thing from those cars is a movie we all can't help but quote.

What was so illegal about that silvia and integra that they had to be crushed?

I'm not 100% sure why they where seized. But it's usually for illegal import. Basicly not having the right paper work done and not paying the legal fess and taxes.

But here are some more pics. Does anybody know what kind of coilovers and wheels are on the Nissan
