I'm sure if we get an approved GB the price will be lower. The price I listed was a guess, but a bargaining chip nonetheless... if we can point to a list of ready buyers at a given price point, that's all the more reason to lower the price.

Count me in, I am very ready to buy one. $239 is the group price, how much is shipping? Is there some kind of group rate or is it based on where you live?

That's one hell of a nice lip. Almost makes me wish I didn't sell my Chuki.

People need to learn how to read. He never said the price was 239. He gave an example of how he might try to bargain with them to set up a group buy.

Cranky this morning? My bad man. I thought is said it was for sure $239, ut going back and reading it again he did say no promises. Sorry for the mistake, I was reading this thread at work. Either way This is a really good find on a lip that has been dam near impossible to find.

Masticatingcow, I want to thank you for your efforts, and also reiterate that I am so freakin' in if this is a chuki lip and not a zenki lip.

I did some research and I found part numbers for zenki and chuki Xenon lips. I think these numbers are from Xenon. Not sure tho...

89-90: 51-5251

91-94: 51-5351

Those are Xenon numbers.

Also, while they DO offer a lip for the Zenki, it's not NEARLY as good as the Chuki lip. As you can see in the pictures, the Xenon lip looks a LOT like the factory one.

Okay, look, here's the deal:

I called the sales rep at StreetBeatCustoms and asked him to call Xenon about the part. I told him that we were looking for part #5351 and that I wanted to make sure it would fit the Chuki 240sx. He did not know what a Chuki was, but I said that the parts guy would know.

He called me back a minute later and said, "91-94 240sx, right? Yeah, they can have about 15 units ready in a little less than two weeks." Just to be sure, I asked for Xenon's contact information and got a hold of JT, their sales guy. He told me the same thing. When I asked him about the rumors that these lips were no longer in production, he said there was no truth to that. They are made to order and they'll make them for us.

This is the list of in-guys so far. I put stars next to the folks I need e-mail addresses for.

Ok, nwmrkt, you're in. Being Canadian won't change that.

We're good to go on a GB as of a couple minutes ago. Here are the details:

Purchase price: $226.40 + S/H

StreetBeatCustoms wants to freight the entire order to a local address (probably me), so we'll divide up whatever that costs. Then I'd ask you to cover ground shipping to your door from mine.

I will see if I can't work out some better pricing for you guys from here. Everyone that's on the list will get a confirmation e-mail with the details, including payment date and expected shipping dates.

Brad - I am like 2 miles from SBC if that helps.

I'd rather not be involved unless it saves our folks a lot of $$$.

They really oughta dropship them.

p.s. Here's one for sale locally... http://www.az240sx.org/forums/...25433

I'll insist on it before orders get placed. With a growing list of 17 sales, I think they can accomodate.

If they are not willing to drop ship individually ---I can act as an east coast drop point and send some out from here (as long as they are all individually boxed)---for whatever UPS/FEDEX/DHL/USPS charges for shipping.
