Awesome. Hopefully I'll get some welding practice soon. Keep it up.

It has been a while since the last update so I fugured i should post some pics and get you guys up to speed.

Things have been going slow and it does not look like alot has changed but that is because most of the work I have done recently is all the small stuff mainly to do with the intakes (IAC, PVC, Coolant lines etc...). All that stuff has been more difficult then I ever imagined it would be. I am trying to keep a clean cimetrical look and i makes things difficult....I don't want to just throw a bunch of hoses all over the place.

I have welded the stock IAC (cut off of the Q intake) to the back of the right bank intake runner and have used a Y hose to go to each runner and I have used 2 bolt on bungs taken from PS pumps the feed into the runners.

Then I took the PVC "T" found behind the coolant filler on a stock VH and welded it to the back of the thermistat houseing under the intakes.

I also moved a coolant temp sensor from the top of the coolant "Y" in the valley to the back side (this will be the one I use for the ECU and the one at the front will be removed). Does anyone know why there are 2of the same sensors? Is there only 2 on the TCS models?

I have also removed the coolant filler and rad cap then welded the hole shut and clocked it to come out under the throttle body.

Now I am going to finish the IC pipeing and start on the clean up. I still need to get 2 waste gates, 2 BOV's (HKS SSQV's) the rad and a clutch. Then I need to get the body blasted and painted.I could have the car done by the end of the month if I had all the funds but my budget is gone so it will take some more time unless I find a sposor to help out.......anyone know of any sponsors?...lol

Ok I will shut up now and post the pic's

Ok so here is the latest on Bastard Child. I have almost finished all the IC pipeing, I just need to add the BOV's and weld up all the seams I am also waiting on a couple more couplers. The intakes are neer there final state and the top end of the engine will be buttoned up soon. I will be doing alot of work to the chassis and exhaust this week as I am on a 1 week lay-off. I had all intention of finishing this car by the end of the month but I am not sure if it will happen ..still alot to do. I still need the rad waste gates and a clutch.

Well here are some new pics.

I hav 2 of these and they will be placed just before the throttle body fornt viewside

All the pipe is aluminized exhaust pipe and I know I am adding more wieght then I want to but this is all I can aford right now and I can always copy them out of aluminum later once the car has proven itself. The BOV's are the 2007 model HKS SSQV. I guess tats all for now. I should get lots of work done this week so I will add more pics soon

Thanks Chris

Awesome work mate, I am thoroughly impressed. It's great that in the Nissan V8 community, most of us try and do as much as we can ourselves! Your car's going to be brutal!

The fram filter is just a temp. I only got it to test fit the size ect.... They are cheap and easy to get which makes the good for moch up but that is about all. I will be ordering a wicks or the brand that redline seld ...I can't remember the name right now.

Thanks for the coment though guys. I just added the flex pipes to the down pipes and am about to start the side exits and cross over. Will have more pics soon.

I have the left bank turbo manifold almost finished. This is a bad pic but you will get the idea. I will post more soon.

Hey guys.. sorry I have not updated in a while but I really have nothing to update you on. I was layed off work in the spring so money got tight, I also moved my shop in the spring aswell.

I have not had time to work on my project since I moved shop. It has been an amazingly busy summer with all the drift events and track days and moving in with my girlfriend etc.. I got third place in the CSCS championship points serries.

But drift season is over so expect to see some more progress soon. I need this car done for next season as I plan to enter a pro drift series next year.

Anyone want to sponsor me?

If you want to see some videos of me drifting just search S1DC on youtube or google video, I am in the white s13with the big S1DC on the side.

You are my inspiration for my vk45dett (vh internals) s13 project lol... I want to basically run the same exact setup except with smaller t25 turbos. I am even going to position my engine and turbos exactly how you're doing it. I been wanting to do it something like that, but didn't know how it looked until I saw yours.. What size injectors do you have? Is it the stock 370cc injectors? Is that enough for your setup or are you going to upgrade them to bigger ones?

Man, that idler pulley looks like crap!

Just busting your chops. You will have many many hours in just polishing the heads and timing cover.

This is definitely a great project. and I applaud your effort. You need to mount those blow-off valves so they stick out of the hood, they are so pretty!

Thanks for the coments guys.I will not be polishing the heads...that would take too long. I am more of a function over form kind of guy but I want this car to be really clean, mainly because it will help get sponsors.

I have finaly found a suitable rad and I will be ordering it today which means I am 1 step closer to starting this baby in the car. I still need a good clutch and wastegates.

I am hopeing to have all the engine work done by the end of this year.

I am sorry man , but I don't think I can give you much help when it come to cost. Everything I have done, I have done myself and alot of it with parts that I already had laying around the shop. All I gan give you is:

Engine $650CADZ32tt transmission $250 CAD (with starter and flywheel, everything is from japan)transmission adapter $1063.00CAD (wow)Griffin Scciroco Rad $200USD shippedCustom 1 piece Drive shaft $550CAD Shippedmost all other thing i got for free or dirt cheap like the 42mm elbows for the exhaust mani's. That size pipe is not comonly used in Canada and proply never used in the US but I am in the pipe fitting / pipe welding heating buisness so I happen to find the last 10 know elbows in the country and got them for free.

I hope this helps. Not sure what else to tell you but if you have anymore questions feel free to ask.

Are you using stock injectors? How much power is the stock injectors good for? I may have missed this in the past posts, but are you going with standalone or a piggyback

I posted a spec sheet on stock injectors a little while ago that I got from Deatschwerks...can't remember what the stock ones were good for hp wise. Search my name and you can probably find it.
