ZX 5speed swap ?

Anyone here know if a 5sp. from an 82 zx will bolt up to my Z24 engine? Have 3sp. auto now and MPG's suck If it will, will the clutch pedal assy. from the Z fit also? I searched but turned up nothing. TIA. Mike

Direct bolt up? Yeah IDK but guessing not.

However with an adapter plate sure. Id look for a KA24de to z32 plate because I'm pretty sure ka trans bolts up. You may need to take the same thickness out of your bellhousing to make up for the difference in thickness. And possibly a custom trans mount.

I can double check this next week, I'm pretty busy til then.

I have a ka trans on the floor and a z24 on a stand, It wouldnt take much effort.
