Is there a head unit that works with the Zune over USB? If not, I guess I'll have to resort to using AUX and having my FM tuner as just a charger, but I'd really like to have it work with just one cable for sound and charge if anyone knows of one. Thanks.

Looked around and didn't see anything. Unfortunately it's not nearly as popular as the ipod so you don't have 8 billion options on cables.

yea.. unfortunately. i've found out through searching the interwebz that one doesn't exist, so i have a new question: does anyone know for sure if a head unit with a USB port on it (specifically the Pioneer DEH-P6900UB) will simply POWER the Zune over USB?

EDIT: Just talked to Pioneer's Customer Service and they said it will power anything up to 500mA. I found on Microsoft's support site that this is also their magic number. :-) I'm buying myself a birthday present on Friday. Going to use the 6900 and the Home A/V Pack to integrate my Zune into my 240. :-D all is going to be well.

got it installed today. the usb port doesn't push enough current. the zune kept pausing, but the boys at Circuit City hooked me up with another 12v socket and a usb plug that works with it. the system sounds wonderful. pics to come later.

dekay46,

New user and Just found your post. How did it turn out? Can you forward the info for the power and USB supply you got from C City? I just had C City install the Pioneer DEH-6900UB unit in my wifes Pathfinder and I think your solution would work perfectly. Thanks in advance.

Necromancer time.... Has anyone made a zune compatible head unit yet? I've searched, but with no luck. Figured maybe Broadfield or someone else into car audio may know.
