ok ok, so I did the Q45 swap and comparo thread and didnt take any pics....

not making that mistake twice. I hate taking pic while workin on my car cuz i d!ck around enough taking my time as it is buuuut..... might as well

So without further adieu,

My Z32 calipers came today, Alum 26mm.... I wanted 30mm but ordered these by accident.

also came my adaptors to put 6.5" speakers in my door panels.

I'll start taking my car apart tomorrow and take some sweet pics.

I should get the rest of my stuff tomorrow.

When the Z32 rotors i ordered on ebay come ill measure em and see if they are 26mm or 30mm.... i ordered em for a 95 300zx so i should be able to assume they'd be 30mm but knowing ebay.......

anyways if my rotors are 30mm ill prolly be selling either the front rotors or my calipers to get the right stuff lol. OR trade.

i wanted z32 from the get go based on looks but they wouldnt clear my steelies so i went with Q45s... now i should have rebuilt the q45s when i got em but because my car is daily driven and i was replacing a front caliper that was leaking alot i just threw the q45s on there... well murphy's law got me and one of the q45s is leaking. a rebuild kit is only $10 but i also had a rear caliper decided to crap out on my at the same time.

so the tax money went to 5 lug + Z32 brakes and S14 SE wheels.

once i start pulling my 4 lug stuff and the q45 brakes im gunna make a sale thread and eventually put it on EBAY to recoup some money

prolly should but they aren't moist near the pots. The rear aluminum calipers are gunna get cleaned up and painted black. The fronts are gunna get cleaned up and sold. They are 26mm alum and I got rotors for 30mm lol I want 30mm alum calipers.

I was gunna sell the alum z32 uprights but decided to source z32 rear shocks and use the alum uprights on my car.

What did you use to clean your calipers before painting it? Mine are HELLA dirty, brake cleaner and wire brush ain't pushing it.

I'm getting ready to put speakers in my doors, the bigger the better. Where did you find those at?

Why paint the wheels black? IMO The silver would have looked better against the gold/tan. Nice brake set up though.

Search for them on ebay. there is a guy on there that sells tons of adapters. I have bought sets of the front s13 doors adapters and 1 set of the hatch rear adapters. They are great products and he is a good seller.

Sorry OP back on topic.

got some more stuff done...

the conical ball joint seats you need if using Z32 uprights

I havent read anywhere about this but if using the Z32 uprights you need to take this thing off the axles... the stock S13 axles had this metal flange to shroud the bearing while the Z32 has the axle seat on a rubber seal

SSSexy rear brakes

and the wheels on the car, cant wait for the 5 lug hubs to come in.

I used the Z32 shocks ( KYB GR-2 ) and used my S13 spring and top shock mount. the ride height is slightly higher than b4 but it works. Now Impressions.... i have Q45 brakes up front still, and used the stock S13 BMC. Rear brakes lock b4 the front from a 60mph stop using decent pressure. Pedal feel is good, a bit softer than the stock but not enough to care.

oh and im not sure what version of Z32 these came off of 2+2 or coupe but the ebrake cables are too long.... DOH

i routed the rubber part thru the chassis not where the stock lines go, ill take pics later but my cam died last night while working...

i can bolt the cable flange to the body in the trans tunnel, just the actual cable is a few inches too long... grr so i have to leave the car in gear... no big deal.
