Zip tied my greddy lip back together

i recently repaired a HUGE tear/crack in my silvia bumper.

i used fiberglass with strands in it so it has that extra bit of adhesion and durability. it worked very well.

so, you could try that if you want, but i think it looks good. nothing wrong with a few scars. you fixed it very cleanly. but yes, red zipties would def. have been your ally in this one, or like someone said you can just paint over them if you can match it well.

still, nice fix!

There would be NO point to go with Red ones because if u were worried about color matching you would have done the plastic weld or whatever everyone is talking about.

Black stitches say something, red would be like you want to hide it.

hm interesting, maybe I'll try and resurrect this lip one day when i have time to sand it down, bondo and fiberglass. I wish i knew about it earlier

i like it. looks BA. i agree though cross stitching would have been cooler. (and dont paint them red, or even fix the lip, just leave it)
