Hi,I did a lot of research on my recent 'ABS/TCS/SLIP' light on issue and figured that for Y33s, the most common issue is the ABS relay (single relay vs. 2 relays on G50s).

I got the part from Joe but now I need to replace it. I searched and found that you did the same thing on your Y33 sometime ago. Would be great if you can give me some pointers as to where this ABS relay is. I also bought the cabin filters and will be replacing them sometime soon. I am hoping the ABS relay is a easy one to replace and see if that turns the lights off. I am getting a code U3FFF just like what you had got, when I hooked up a standard code reader to the OBDII Connector. Don't want to take it to dealership until I have at least tried by replacing the ABS Relay.

thanks for any help!cheersPhal'97 Q45 with 147K Miles

Never mind! It was a pretty simple part for installation. The part was clipped to the ABS actuator under the hood near the passenger side firewall. Part replaced and lights gone! Just how good this forum's archives are (and of course the members contributing to it) - is amazing.

I also replaced the cabin air filters and they were filthy (10yrs and never replaced - jeez, I can't forgive myself for neglecting this. What a pain in getting to the area for the replacement.

Now I have one remaining problem - rough/vibration during idling. After MAF, Throttle body cleaning, what someone was pointing to was that it could be the injectors. I have done BG44K And also fuel rail flush. Could be injectors or could be O2 sensors going out? Gotta do more digging.

CheersPhal

Clean your plenum, EGR and IAC valves. Expecially the EGR tube inside the plenum.

Replace all air filters and fuel filter annually!
