zinc coated rotors?

i'm looking at a special on a rival board right now that comes with the option of black zinc coated rotors. and they would look m4d jdm.....but i remember hearing somewhere that zinc can rust easily....that or if the rotor gets to hot the zinc can liquify.

eathier way i remember reading that there is a big set back to zinc coated rotors. can anyone enlighten me??

Zinc is used as an anti-rust plating, I don't know about "black" zinc though.

Doesn't help to read if you don't remember.As stated, the zinc coat is for anti corrosion.I'm missing the point as to what is JDM about painting your rotor hat black?
