zenki w/ kouki conversion vs. kouki

is there any differences between a zenki w/ kouki conversion (front, tail lights, fenders, hood, front bumper, emblems, wing) and a kouki? just the looking, interior as well. thx!

the front end and tail lights are the most noticable differences... interior wise they are practially identical, except the 95 had a corn flour blue dash/interior.

Minor change to the gauges, different cloth interior types and patterns. Like colies said, some Zenki's had the blueish green dash. Zenki's also have an all red hazard button. That's all I can think of right now. And I think only the 95 S14 had the power antenna option not 100% sure though.

Emissions wise the Kouki is ODBII and the Zenki is ODBI, just something to think about.

not entirely correct..some zenki have obd 1 and some have obd 2..there are no 96 zenkis with obd 1 and i think halfway through 95 they switched from obd 1 to obd 2..iirc

My old 95 Which was made on 6-94 had OBD2 Plug and my now 95 10/94 has OBD 2 too. I think they all have the same computer/OBD but 95 is tested as ASM thats all! also both car pulls OBD2 codes!

Navan. I have also heard them called S14 JDM Zenki Aero Sideskirts and Nissan OEM Japan Optional Aero, depends on who is selling them. They are made of urethane and will fit both the zenki and kouki. They were an OEM option for the S14 Silvia in Japan.

My car "according to the data tag on the door jam" rolled off the assy line on Sept 94' and it is OBD 2. I don't think any S14 was OBD 1. I know that some of the S13's were but I'm pretty sure the S14's were all OBD 2. Correct me someone if I'm wrong.

LOL I know my dad think I am Crazy too! But Most of the 240sx I have own before. Had something that I did not like about it or someone offer me a price I can not pass thats why I sold it! The 98 was 100% clean and only had 34K on it but my GF got mad of me so she sold our pride and joy! Which got me so mad I did not talk to her for about a month! But I am about thinking its about time to sale my other pride and joy. (my 90 coupe) if the price is right.

(still trying to convince the Mrs. but she says my S14 costs too much already) If I do fastback then I want to go 180sx with it but if I get a coupe I want to do the Silvia conversion, with halogen lamps, I hate projector lights on the S13!

That'd be cause for alarm in my book.

Anyway, Zenki S14's don't have the crankshaft position sensor, AFAIK. The 97-98's do (I know because I changed mine, and it was a royal PITA)

Trust me she regreat every bit of it still after 4 months! Thats why she got another S14!

So I got my Pair of S13 and she got her S14 and of course the POS 01 Corolla Which has a 3 speed auto from the factory! who in the world still make 3 speed auto???

LOLBefore we got this S14 we almost got a MKIV or a Z33 but after deep thinking. $2800 1 owner 60+ years old driven since new 95 S14 SE in the rare concours gray that looks like it just came off the factory floor (other then the lip)is a better car to own!
