All right, so I got the two plastic screws and the screwholders out from the top but I still can't get the grill out of the tab sockets on the bottom. I have another grille I'm about to install so I can see what's keeping it from coming out (those tabs on the bottom), but I don't know if I'm just supposed to keep pulling or take off something else first.

When I pull on it I hear the material making stretching sounds or whatever so I really don't want to break it. I just searched and didn't get any clear answers. Someone said they just kept pulling and broke one of the tabs... I'd rather not do that.

Anyone have experience with this here?

For your last Zenki or your current? Cause I've noticed you don't have a grille on this one... Did it not come with one or did you just rip it out and break it?

Okay, well I got it off by just pulling it. Got the left side off first and then while I was trying to take off the right I noticed it was cracked towards the bottom a bit and was making it weaker and so just pulling normally wouldn't really help and could break it further. I wedged a flathead under it and between the bumper and pulled it out with force from the bottom and it popped out.

It seems like a simple process but it can be difficult and frustrating, and I can see you can definitely break the grille if you're not careful. Maybe I'll do a writeup on it.

Just pull it with the same strength across all three tabs and none should break. Really not that hard

It's not the simple concept of taking it off. It's the detailed aspect. It can be confusing as to exactly what to do without breaking the damn thing. After I got mine off I realized a previous owner had broken off the middle tab and the right side of grill was cracking a bit. Thankfully I was able to get it off without doing any more damage.

Of course it seems like a simple task -- just unscrew and pull out. Yet if you just do that you could easily break the thing and maybe even get some tabs stuck in there.

After all, at least it wouldn't be a write up on how to maintain your car during the winter.

Yeah I dont know if your grill was sprayed on the car, but mine came off with 2 bolts. It pretty much fell out.

Hmm... I see. Cause mine was a ***** to get out. Had to pull really hard and I heard sounds as if it was about to snap. Left side was hard to get out but the right I had to pull really hard to get out (and I also had to make sure I didn't snap off the tab since it was already cracked).

Guess it's not the same for everyone.
