Zenki clear covers, how's your visibility?

I will probably be buying something like the Circuit Sports clear covers that enjuku has for $165, but before I do I need to know something that no one ever seems to clearly answer.

I'm wondering how your visibility is at night after switching to clear covers?

Seriously, I don't want to reduce my visibility over OEM. I also don't have the cash for German glass unless I can find some used and very inexpensive. I will be using standard silverstar bulbs or maybe a hid kit if it would help.

I really want to know what your clear cover set up is, how your visibility is now vs after, etc. I think a lot of us Zenki owners want to know what our visibility is going to be like before we shell out cash and regret it.

I do know they look very nice vs OEM...

I guess it is similar to the other post I made a little while back. Except... The other post was more about the overall opinion of the different lighting options I had (German Glass, Clear Covers etc.). Things like durability and looks and fitment as well as light output while I made my mind up.

This post is more about what I decided on, the Clear Covers. I want the input of other people who have already installed clear covers to see how they... see... lol

I also don't see how linking to one of your posts is breaking any rules... If so a lot of "For Sale" guys would be in trouble. If for some reason that is not allowed I will remove it also...

I would delete my other post but for some reason I don't have access to delete my own posts on this site. I added this info to the other post just in case.

Like I said I know a lot of us Zenki owners want to know what our visibility is going to be like before we shell out cash and regret it. If we weren't cheep/broke we would all probably get German Glass.

P.S. Happy Holidays to everyone!

They clear covers do look cool, but I think the headlights look kinda boring with the clears unless you have a cool HID retro fit or something else. But yea they are better than the stock look. I would also like to know how the light output changed.

I think these look the best in order:

Clear lens with HID retro fitGerman GlassClear lensOEM

The fluted look is F'ing old '80 looking shizz Poly or Glass.

I installed the clear covers on my Zenki and I did nottice a change in the light output (a dead spot in the middle) on the low beam side, because I didn't remove the shroud in front of the bulb. By the way the pattern is on the high beam side, I don't see a difference (maybe a little brighter) at all. Maybe one of these days I'll get around to pulling the lenses off and intalling some projectors and a HID kit.

Thank you for the input, that is exactly the kind of info I am after!

So you think if you would have removed the shroud in front of the lb bulb it would have taken care of the dead spot? Anyone else experience this?

So I take it everyone can see pretty well with their clear covers at night? Not a lot of input on this subject to go by.

Thank you for the info, I definitely don't want to blind oncoming traffic. I just want to see well at night. I don't want any more excuses to get pulled over!

OK so since one of my headlights went out I upgraded to HID lights, 6000k. They help a lot with the stock covers as far as night viewing goes. Hopefully I will have my clear covers soon and I can answer my own question on here, just in case anyone else is curious and searches.
