FAQ (at the date of this post): "Are all Fontana Village Resort cabins booked for ZDayZ?"

Reply; With Nissan's expanded ZDayZ participation and the unveiling of Nissan's 'Project 370Z' Enthusiast / Track Car build to the public for the 1st time at ZDayZ [ http://zdayz.com/sponsors/project370Z/ ] that answer is ; Probably…, maybe…, but…

It is always a good idea to routinely check with Fontana Village Resort (FVR) [ http://www.fontanavillage.com/ ] and ask about any lodging available on site. In addition to the cabins there are very nice lodge rooms and pool side cabanas on the property. Some folks recently made reservations there (in past week), and it is also understood that occasionally some of the (currently unavailable) unused time share properties become available the closer an event date approaches. Getting on a wait list could be helpful if you are interested in staying on site.

In addition, there are off site hotels in the area, some are listed on the ZDayZ web site here: http://www.zdayz.com/event_information/lodging/

But this area of The Great Smoky Mountains is a huge motoring tourist destination. There are quite a few hotels, B&B Inns, etc. in The Tail of the Dragon and Fontana Village area that cater to the 2 wheeled and 4 wheeled visitors. Google works great for leading you to places like 'TripAdvisor.com' (among others) in which the following lodging was listed. So, get a map, draw a "one hour+" circle around FVR, and - since you already have that computer/smartphone – find you a place to stay (there are some pretty cool ones not on the list below to be sure). So get registered, and come to ZDayZ!
