Okay, ZCON takes a whole lot of prepping before putting a show on. The closest thing I can tell someone is that it's like organizing 5 weddings back to back. One of the days of the Z Convention is a hill country run day. Well today we did our pre-run of the route we chose. For those that are coming, this is what you can look forward to. We pre-ran the course for around 8 hours or so today to get the quickest/craziest section of the vast hill country that is here around San Antonio. Enjoy.

The volunteers from the Zsport club (aka, host club) meet up at the host hotel.

Just like that....we are gone and heading out.

We arrive in Bandera, Texas. Apparently we happen on a parade for Labor day.

Some of the locals.

We run into a fellow photographer.

Like 2 dogs meeting for the first time.

We stop off for a rest outside of Bandera.

Worst prostitute ever.

We start hitting the twisties.

We hit a motorcycle museum with a little diner inside that had the best coconut pie that I've ever had in my life.

Luis standing next to a duck.

Ken Agres getting some seat time.

We head back out to the twisties. Notice the cross. Respect the turns, folks.I am not kidding when I say that these roads out here are watered down in these pics and demand respect. I think some of these turns rival the most complicated runs that I've ever been on over my many years.

It starts to rain for just a bit. Respect these turns in wet conditions even more.

It's rattler country out here. This one was eyeballin me at a gas station.

Dennis new yellow TT.

We get pulled for no front plate. Gotta love the Texas Highway Patrol.

Ken, offering himself as to get out of the ticket. The officer says that he has had better and let's us off with a warning.

We get back to even more twisties.

We get to the crazy section with quick elevation changes, quick scenery shifts and lots of stuff coming at you all at once. Take notice. Again...only for the most experienced drivers out here guys.

Hope you liked the pics. For you folks making it out to San Antonio, this is just a taste for the Hill Country Run.

The Twisted Sisters. Hwy 335 and 337 if I remember correctly. You should really check it out. Very very fun drive. The folks that are making ZCON will love it. Only 3 weeks till ZCON.

Looks like a good time. Like the old bikes

Why do people sit/lean on their cars? Never understood that.

Makes you feel cool.

Why does the Fonz sit on a chair backward? Who knows....but it does look cool. So we lean on cars....to feel like Fonzy.
