zcar owner looking for 240...

I'm going to start building another car, and have narrowed it down between a couple cars, one being a 240, probably 96+. I've been trying to learn as much as i can about swaps and the names by chassis etc., but i can't figure out which 240 (in u.s.) has the 'more aggressive' front end. The lights are more slanted inwards and the grille is more compact. I'm trying to learn as much about the car as i can, alot of time and money will be invested in it if i chose to build my next show car out of it. The more "aggressive" front end is the 97/98 front with the slant eyes.
