Zapco i-Force Speakers - Are they any good???

Any one have any comments on these speakers??

Zapco i-Force i602

Looking to put them in the rear of my 240 Convertible. They look bigger than my stockers, but I think they will fit.

Any comments ???

Zapco used to be a great company. I forgot who bought them out but they have taken a marked down-market swing.

I haven't heard anything from Zapco in a long time..... I just assumed they were done for. In my distant past of dealing with any of the Zapco amplifiers, I had always had good luck with them. I was never a dealer for them though, just what customers brought into me. I have no experience with their speakers though.

Yeah Jim or Jeff or whatever his name was sold the company off a few years ago and started ARC Audio.

Little bit of misinformation there. ARPA of America owns both Zapco and ARC Audio. Robert Zeff is the main engineer for both companies and has been for years. Zapco was, and still is among the best of the best when it comes to car audio amplifiers. Their DC Reference series is a feature packed amp whose performance is very very good.

As for the OP's question regarding I-Force components. They are my go to line for bang-for-the-buck type installs. They sound very good. They (Zapco I-Force Speakers..as well as their higher end lines of speakers) are manufactured by ESB in Italy.
