Just the G gets this...the Jeep is going through a sand and paint job later on so that'll be it's own story.SVTCOBRA wrote:depends on how much time you have....how many cars do you have to keep pretty!!
I basically follow the Application directions on the Zaino site.
I DON"T have the time & energy to keep 4 cars detailed like I used to, but I think Zaino makes it much easier to keep them looking great.
I use the Z-2, Z-7, Z-5 , Z-6

I'm thinking I need the Z-AIO, Z-18, Z-7, Z-5 (black paint) and Z-CS. Does this sound right if I want to give it a good cleaning?
Thanks for the link G-Whizz! I assume I can substitute Zaino products and go about it the same way?
This is perfect...exactly what I was looking for-thanks!joe603 wrote:I agree with the ford man, follow the Zaino directions. Here are the basic steps:
1. Wash car with dish soap, dry with 100% white cotton towel.
2. Clay the car, section by section, use zaino car wash as a lube.
3. Wash car with Zaino car wash, dry with 100% white cotton towel.
4. Apply zaino polish, section by section, (for this I do 1/4 the car at a time). Use the ZFX accelerator to speed up the cure time.
5. Repeat at least twice...using Z6 polish spray in between the coats.
6. Take pics and post up on the member's rides thread!!!
Search function must be broken then because everything I read during my morning AM search said your middle name was Zaino!SVTCOBRA wrote:yes, yes, Joe's middle name is Zaino!! His routine is perfect.
Note that you ONLY use the dish soap ONCE, unless you want to strip it down again, otherwise it's the Zaino soap the next time around.
I've never used the accelerater stuff and never had issues with doing multiple coats in one day.
I ordered the $85 kit and the Z-CS stuff...wish I'd thought about doing this before the weekend thoughjoe603 wrote:Thanks SVT! Let me reiterate how important it is NOT to use dish soap after you've applied Zaino!!! It will strip it!!! Also, don't use dish soap for clay bar lube either...get the Zaino car wash. It's very concentrated and will last you forever! Zaino is worth the time/money spent
Looks like I may need to give it one more wipe down but all in al I am happy with the products!G_whizz wrote:There is more in our "How To" section

have fun and post pics of her when she's squeeky clean!
Hmmm...I can trade you that Mustang in the background (under the cover) and you could paint it black...?SVTCOBRA wrote:Very Nice!! Wanna trade?? I miss my black car.
Thank you sir! It was my first time with Zaino and I am impressed. I can't help you out by comparing it to other stuff used as this is the first time I have ever done anything like this to a car I've owned. My Jeep does not need this treatment!Q451990 wrote:uncbeers,
That looks awesome! I just finished mine today...after spending the weekend on it. I took a lot of time removing the pin stripes and cleaning it but then finished up with Meguiar's NXT wax. I want to try the Zanio - but I just haven't pulled the trigger on it. It looks great, but I suspect the Zanio would last longer.
Does yours have the black interior and rosewood trim too?

Zaino...about 8 hours!
It must not get dark in MI until about 12 or 1am!smockers83 wrote:Wash is about 45 minutes to an hour, waxing can take 3-4 horas. I don't have Zaino so I don't have all of these steps and I only clay areas that need it (claying takes me forever, so I don't have the patience to do the whole car, so if anyone has any tips I'm all ears). I usually start around 4 or 5 in the evening and can have it done by dusk with dinner included.
