Z33 Trans onto a KA

I know there are kits made for the Z32 5spd trans. but...

The Z33 should work with a little modification because it has a 1'' shaft with 24 splines (same as KA/SR/VG/few others). But im wondering how you would bolt it up? From what I understand on the Z32 swap is that you mill the z32 flange down then the adapter plate is bolted to that, then it has extra wholes in both flange and adapterplate to bolt it into the back of the engine?

Or is it done a different way? Any advice would be appreciated.

im picking up a Z33 trans up today for 450$, I figure it would be a nice addition if i can keep the cost down.
