Looking into this for my 90 Z32. Havent seen any writeups or any conclusive information on this. Only found info about installing into an s chassis. I know it would probably be similar but still looking for information/pics of anyone whos done it. I have a local guy in my area willing to sell me a clean set from his 06 for $150! I was hoping that maybe I could just modify the existing brackets and sliders from my stock seat? I like the extra side support on the Z33 seat and my drivers side bolster is torn to hell. This would be a way cheaper option than what people are charging for a clean set of Z32 seats. Understandably since they are much more difficult to come by.

I think there's a dimension issue, if I'm not mistaken. I believe they are a bit too wide. I think I read a while back about a guy having tried it and it not working.

One of our site sponsors just posted a thread in the Discussion section, and their Z32 seat covers are selling for $200, so only $50 more than the asking price of those Z33 seats you are looking at.

Ive seen the covers. May end up just going that route or saving more for one badass bucket seat for the drivers side. From what I read you are right about the dimension issues and it looks like to make them fit you have to remove the side covers, leaving the mechanics exposed.

Someone on TT.net installed some Subaru BRZ Limited seats, and they looked fantastic. Really fit the car. They even wired up for the heated seats. I know its not your cheap 350Z seats, but maybe something to keep an eye out for:

thats awesome! I actually decided to let the Z33 seats go. After a TON of reasearch and good photos taken by the seller. The side pockets definately would not fit, the door wouldnt have enough room to close and the pocket would cover up the trunk/fuel latch. I ended up finding an NRG reclinable bucket on CL for $100 that was in really good condition. I only have the one drivers seat for now but I love the snug fit and the increased back support. I was also able to drill out mounting holes in my stock hardware. The seat technically sits off to the left about a half inch compared to stock because I had to work around where the seat belt attaches to the rail, and the leave enough room that I could get the bolts in and torqued down. Not noticable at all though. Then I put together some nuts and bolts from Lowes to attach the seat and get the height dialed in. After this experience I would expect that the Z33 seat could have been installed the same way minus the side pocket.
