Are the stock twin turbos from a z32tt same as an sr t25 turbo? My friend has the z32 turbos and I wanted to buy a bottom mount t25 manifold to use with one of the z32 turbos, if they are the same as sr t25 or can bolt right on. Thanks!

No, they're not the same turbos spec wise, but since they are both variants of a T25, they should both bolt up to a T2 flanged mani.

300zxTT uses a Garrett "Tb22" Specs:T3 Compressor .42A/R 50 trim, T25 Turbine .53A/R 62 trim (.48A/R for an auto car?)

SR20(S13) is a Garrett T25 Specs:T-25 Compressor. 60 Trim 56mm T-25 Turbine. 62 Trim 53.8mm 0.64 A/R

...someone correct me if i'm wrong

I don't know what your power goals are, bur a Z32 turbo is relatively small.

I want to run 7-8 psi on the z32 turbo. How much whp & wtq would I get with this turbo on my stock internal ka24de? I would be very happy with 200-230whp, for now!

I would also like to know if they (T25 from VG30DETT) would bolt up to the bottom mount T25 manifold and an SR20DET downpipe as would a t25 from an SR20.

Anyone? Cuz I'm building my KA as of now and saw a good deal on VG30DETT turbos. Pretty sure they are smaller than the SR20DET T25's but I just wanna clarify if they (VG30 T25 turbo) would bolt up the same as SR20DET T25's would on a KA24DET set up with bottom mount manifold.

The VG30DETT turbo's are extremely small for a 2.4. They are actually considered small for the VG, which only uses 1.5 per turbo.

Any T2 flanged turbo will bolt up to the T2 flanged manifold. You'll need some custom work done on the downpipe though since I believe the angle off the 300ZX turbo won't be correct to simply fab a downpipe for.

I'd suggest not using it. There are many better choices for very little money available.

The Z32 turbo's are t3 flanged. I know that for a fact. well, I KNOW the Japanese ones are. My instincts tell me that the American ones should be the same but who knows. I Was going to procure one from my previous workplace in the Bahamas to put on my SR, but those turbo's are definitely T3 flanged.

So, you need a T3 flanged manifold.

This is incorrect, the Z31 has a single T3. The Z32 has a pair of T25's...or I think they are actually called T22's or something along those lines. The Z31 has the VG30ET the Z32 has the VG30DETT.

Z32 turbos are just a pair of T25s with a slightly smaller exhaust housing than the SR's. .48AR compared to .64AR off a SR.

.48AR on a T2 flange is massive choking your exhaust.

Unless they marked them wrong, the VG30DETT turbo's & manifolds we had in stock were T3 flanged T25's. Like I said, the ones in america may be different, but I know what I had my hands on, Or I would've had a 300ZX turbo on my SR.

Just throwing in my JDM input. I can't exactly go back right now and double check.

USDM 300zx's ran dual T25's

They ran dual S15 T28's as a massive power upgrade.

When I lived in Japan I swapped the stock units on my buddies 300Z...T25's bro. They never came with T3 exhaust housings...in any country. The compressor housing was a T3 though...I think. I'm sure the exhaust housing was a T2 flange though.

In other words, Z32 T25 is even more sorry than a SR T25.

Dont even run it unless u like a 2k-4k powerband.
