Woahwoahwoah..dont start calling me an idiot just yet.

Let me explain,

ive owned primarily 80s 300zx turbos..all non intercooled and turbo.
Was curious to know how the z32 tt would fair with no intercooler. My reason for asking this (what some no doubt consider dumb )question is i have a 2+2 and am doing a tt swap.
Obviously the car would be dynod and tuned.

Just curious to your opinions....

Just a curiosity question. As before mentioned though the z31 turbo had no intercooler.

The Z31 was also a SOHC engine, and only made 4 psi, with a compression ratio of 7.8:1. That only edges the N/A Z32 by 200% as a turbocharged engine, assuming the turbo is running at maximum efficiency. Which it probably wouldn't.

Only way a setup like that could work is with water meth injection, and you're still pushing the envelope at stock levels. I don't see why you would want to run without what gives you safe power, though.
