Hey guys, first is a thanks for some great info on the forum, I wouldn't have decided to go with the VH45DE if not for all of the posts here.
Little background before the questions, I am on my second Z32, the first one I had for nearly five years as a DD in college before meeting up with a tree two years ago. This one I bought at Christmas for so cheap I couldn't pass it up. It started out as a N/A automatic running on 5 cylinders, so out went the motor and I prepped and painted it over several weekends. I started getting parts for the swap about a month ago when I decided that rebuilding the stock motors was too simple.
I bought a 95 JDM motor and picked up a 93 ECU and a 94 wiring harness at a pull-a-part. The motor doesn't have TCS, but the harness had both TCS and AS since it was the only harness that didn't have half of the connectors cut. Now for the questions:
1. After following Nick's nifty wiring diagram I somehow ended up removing the TPS switch (F14 I think, the black one) oops. It has a green, black/white AND a red wire going to it, the ECCS wiring diagram doesn't have the red one. Is it supposed to go somewhere?
2. The ECCS diagram also has a resister between the black/white wire on F14 but the F14 doesn't have any resister on its 3ft length, is it needed?
3. I haven't seen anywhere on Nick's diagram where Z32 F22 (compressor) wire goes, does it need to have a seperate wire added?
4. Same as above except for oil pressure sending unit.
5. Lastly, since I am using the 93 ecu, should I just get a stand-alone switch for the radiator cooling fan, or try to wire it in to the ecu?
Sorry if the post is a little long-winded, but I have been "saving up" questions for a while.
Thanks
