Alright, so I have wanted to run 300zx wheels on my 240 for a while now, as I am trying to upgrade the car as much as possible using stock parts from other nissans. I already have 30mm z32 front brakes and an ess arrrr matey. I figure this will also be an easy way to get wheels that will clear my brakes too.
The cool part: I came across a wrecked 300zx for very cheap that has all of the parts I need to complete the rear brake and 5-lug swap onto my s13. It also has all four wheels in very nice shape. I plan to sell off the front brakes and use the cash from that to purchase j30 axles to put the 300zx rear diff into my s13 as well.
Now, I want to keep the overall diameter of the tires the same so that my speedo is correct. This is also why I am using 300zx rear diff, same final drive. I also plan to upgrade to stance gr+ coilovers while the car is down for the winter. I know that I will need to use spacers to clear the coilovers with the wider z wheels. The wheels are 16x7.5 with 45mm offset all around. As long as I am going to be running spacers, It would be cool if the wheels sat flush or close to flush with my stock fenders / quarter panels without needing to roll or pull them.
Ok, so what I am looking to find out:What size spacers and tires should I run in the rear? What size spacers and tires should I run in the front?
Why do I want z wheels? They look good! Except painted gloss black and my car is bright red. lol anyone want to photoshop that for me?
