hey I wanted to double check with the s14 gurus on this forum: i'm planning on getting a z32 vlsd with abs (i hear the abs option does not matter) with 94-96 j30 axles for a 97 s14 without abs. This is all I need correct? I can still use the z32 half shafts from the diff right? I did a lot of searching but still wanted to check w/ this forum before I spend the big bux. -josh

^is this a good strong setup?^I think I might do a 300zx-240sx axle swap myself. You guys think the welds are a problem of any sort? I'm kinda low on funds and I'd like to save every penny I can by getting a 300zx lsd and axles for cheap and nothing more...

my opinion is Engine, LSD, then suspension. its no fun putting the time and money into the engine if you cant get the power to the ground.

good luck

To overcome the extra length at the nose of the diff you can:

1) Install it and see if your driveshaft and transmission mounts have enough play to soak up the extra length.

2) Get a driveshaft from an ABS equipped 240SX...it's .75" inch shorter.
