The Z32 vlsd diff output shafts have a different bolt pattern than than that of the USDM S14 diff. (the flange bolt pattern that maches up with the rear drive shafts)

On this website,http://importnut.net/lsdswap.htm, there is information on completing the swap. The guy bought new diff. output shafts from nissan to swap out with the Z32 ones. Does anyone know if the output shafts from the S14 lsd can be swapted into the Z32 vlsd?

I was thinking that maybe the guy ordered output shafts for a vlsd s14.

I actually don't know the answer to that.

But if you want to swap the z32 differential, you could use the j30 axles to mate with the z32 outputs...

Thanks for the information. I really don't want to pay $150 a piece for new output shafts from Nissan. With that kind of money I would rather buy a referbished diff. from PDM-Racing.

AFAIK, the non VLSD output shafts from your R200 diff can be machined to fit the R200V diff. The only difference is the R200V output shafts are slightly shorter to clear the viscous coupling.

i know this thread is from forever ago but i was wondering if anyone could shed any more light on this. i'm currently trying to figure out what is needed to use a z32 vlsd in a non lsd s13. and i've heard that j30 axles or s13 vlsd output shafts will work. can anyone confirm that or the rumor that stock output shafts can be machined? thanks
