I have 95 240sx SE and replaced the worn out vlsd with a Z32 vlsd (used j30 axles). The Z32 vlsd came with 2 abs sensors with a counter for the sensor on each of the side shafts. I connected the s14 single abs sensor to one of the side shafts.

Well now my abs light stays on all the time. I am thinking that the counters from the Z32 vlsd have a different gear ratio than the counter in the s14 vlsd. So the abs system either thinks that my rear wheels are spinnig faster than they really are or slower.

It seems possible to splice the proper resistor or some kind of aplifier to give the abs system the proper information. Does anyone know the difference in gear ratios of the counters or have a solution besides getting rid of abs.

Actually, the speed of the output shaft is slower than the speed of the input shaft. I believe yours is by 4.11. Not to mention when you turn, the ratio will be altered by the differential. I'm not sure any simple eletronic circuit is going to help. ABS systems use a magnetic hall sensor that use pulses rather than simply a voltage signal. The solution would be to find a VLSD housing that is compatible with a 3 channel system or swap the VLSD portion of the Z32 diff into the housing of your old diff.
