Z32 vert?

I posted this in the Z forum as well, but I figured that I would probably get an answer quicker from NICO general.

I was driving home from work yesterday and a convertible Z32 passed by going the opposite direction. I had never seen a convertible Z32 before. I almost turned around to follow him and get a closer look at the car, but we were both doing about 60 going in opposite directions. Wish I could have gotten a picture of it. Very beautiful car. But the Z32 is one of my ten best looking cars of all time.

How long did they make the Z32 in a vert? Like I said, I had never seen one before. Was is it a limited production run for a year or two? Or was this more than likely a custom job?

We have 2 Z32 verts in my town that I know of. We also have well over a dozen S13 convertibles, and they all popped up after I bought mine.

According to Edmunds, it started in '93 and ended in '96.

My friends body shop is currently working on a Twin-Turbo converted 'vert. It's really cool looking.

I have only seen a picture of a vert 240z. Looked pretty cool, but the hard top is sexier.

Typically I'm big on convertibles. Chopping the top did wonders for the Olds Cutlass Supreme and Dodge Stratus (they took away two doors and called it a Sebring).

But for this particular body style, I prefer the hardtop. Its more fitting of its character.

Yeah, I like the hard top and t-top versions of the 300Z better than the vert, but still a sexy looking car.

Hey Jesda, I think you should chop the top off the Q and have yourself a vert Q. Now that would be PIMP.

Q-Vert! The closest thing was a hideous Q-turned-pickup on eBay a month ago. Looked like a Japanese El Camino or Ranchero.

The z32 vert was a $3K option when new. They also weigh even more than the heafty 300zx. In the US we only got the N/A version in the vert.I like the looks of them myself.

I think the cars are absolultely gorgeous. There is only one here in the BG I think, its black w/ black top, black leather, and chrome/polished Z wheels. The car is amazing looking. Definately on my top 10 best looking car list.

Meh, hardtop Z32 looks so much better imo.
