Hello, Im new to NICO. I've got a question about my J30.

So one day I was on my way to college. I got out on to my highway, hit the gas, the car accelerated to about 30, then the revs went up, and I lost all power to the ground. My transmission is totaly dead.

I know that the RE4R01A is used in the J, and the N/A Z32. Will the RE4R03A in the TT Z32 work in the J?

Whats the difference in the RE4R01A and the RE4R03A? I know that the RE4R03A is more beefy to handle the extra HP from the VG30DETT, but are they different in physical size?

On ebay, I seem to find alot more RE4R03A's than RE4R01A's, and they seem to be about the same price.

there are differences, the output shaft is larger (where the transmission connects to the drive-shaf), you will also need to get a TT flywheel to fit the larger torque converter (the flywheel is a direct bolt on), and little wiring issues, other than that, it should bolt in, however, i would suggest that you stick with the stock transmission, hope this helps, good luck

I read somewhere that the QX4/PAthfinder uses the same transmission
