z32 stuff

alright guys, I searched and while I found some information, nothing definitive. i was at my local junk yard today and they had i think 3 z32s there, 2 or 3 s13s, and i think 3 z31s. I know some stuff off the z32s can be used for a 5 lug conversion but im not sure what. i was thinking about going there and taking the stuff off and selling to you guys for a small profit (to cover for me going there to take it off). the junkyard is in central new jersey so if you are in the nearby area i can explain to you how to get there. If i can get some sort of consensus on what people need from any of those cars and how to take it off ill go back and check what they have and what they dont have.

the junk yard does seem a little pricey because they were going to charge me $20 per stock ka24de injector but maybe if i get a bunch of things i can get the prices lower. once again, if you guys can tell me what might be needed and where on the car it can be found i can go back, check if they have it, and check the prices.

Wow, I only have 2 raped S13s at my local pull yard. Anyway, I think you can bolt up the entire z32 subframe on to your S13 but you'll need to use the fork type struts. I can't recall what you need for 5 lug from the Z32 (sorry) but you may need the spindels. I'd just swap the subframe (lsd, 5 lug, R z brakes) and use an s14 hubs for the fronts.

The Z32 subframe will NOT bolt directly to an S13.

You are correct. I searched and concluded that although many of the parts can be used the actual subframe mounting holes will not line up. Thanks for the heads up Clatch.

Rear 5 lug hubs are the only useable 5 lug thing from Z32's.

Grab all the calipers and rotors and the everything the ebrake cable and brake entails. I think that consists of most of the rear spindle assembly but am not sure.

The differential is useable if it's an NA model but I don't think the axles are and you'll need J30/S14 vlsd axles to use it.

can you guys give me some approximate prices for these things? as i said, the junk yard may be a little pricey and i dont want to lose money.

I'll take a set of front Z32 brakes (calipers, rotors....everything needed for upgrade on my s13).... I'll send you a hooker ...seriously tho I want the z32 brake kit...lemme know.

well, the rotors i saw didn't look great. I guess I'll try to get a digital camera, take pictures of everything that's there, ask about prices and the give you guys an update.

Rosco, I would just pick up some Autozone rotors for now, 25 bucks, you can't beat that. Also if the Z32 they are coming off is stock and obviously in the junkyard they are probably rusted *** Autozone rotors anyway.

Are any of the Z32's TT? I wouldn't mind knowing how much they want for the front brakes off a TT.

except for '90 they are the same as the NA brakes (except for the master cylinder)

just as the yard for a quote for all the parts and let us know. if anyone wants the parts then go pick them up.
