Anyone know of a 15 x 7 or 16 x 7 steel wheel that will fit the Z32 and clear the OE 4-pot front calipers? If so, what vehicle are they off of and any idea of the offset/backspacing?

Actually no, for a rally application on a Datsun 510.

Because it is a Datsun 510 with Z32 calipers, Z31 hubs/rotors and 280ZX front struts.

Most steel wheels I have seen don't have enough clearance on the back side to clear Z32 calipers. You'll probably have better luck with some lower-cost alloys, like some Kosei Racing K1s. Tire rack carries them in a 16x8.5 for like $179 or something. You aren't likely going to find a 15" wheel that will clear the calipers either.

Yes, sort of looks this way. I have been able to make a standard Dodge Intrepid (15" x 6" FWD) steel wheel fit by using a 16mm. spacer but for this application a spacer is not very safe (rough roads). I'll start searching the world for a 15" x 7" alloy wheel with a +20mm. offset that will clear the Z32 calipers. Going to a 16" rim is not desireable since I want to keep at least a 50 series sidewall and yet have a tire diameter of no more than 24" (225/50 x 15 is target tire size).
