z32 side moldings

Hello, i was wondering what kind of black paint i could use to redo the side moldings because the original black paint is chipping off, and is there a way i could take the side moldings out? i dont want to pay 200+ for new ones. thx for your time.

dupli color has a spay can paint called truck and body moulding, its pretty damn close to the stock grey look the mouldings are supposed to have, i guess you dont feel like buying new ones?

^ agreed....I've seen others use a rough finish coating kind of spray. The Duplicolor stuff can be had at any autozone type store.

Is it possible to take out the side moldings to do that? or will i have to spray it while its on the car?
