I just got Non-turbo Z32 rear uprights. Is it possible to use Z32 rear shocks on S13? Is it too short or something? Different pillow mount design?

I'm trying to go cheap way cuz i can't afford coilovers right now..

Lower mounts are different. You would have to run z32 spindles as well.

you need s13 units with z32 top mounts, though ive never heard of anyone doing it with springs and shocks

i do know several cars that have coilovers with Z32 top mounts

I know lower mount of s13 is bolt-type. z32 is folk type.

my question is, will it be possible to use z32 shocks/spring with s13 upper pillow ball mount?

or is it z32 shocks/spring with z32 upper pillow ball mount?

I know in coilover case, all i have to change is bottom cup part (which is from bolt-type to folk-type) so i'm guessing z32 shocks with s13 upper part might work.

Ohh sorry, I read your question wrong.

Call kuah at SPL parts. He will know for sure. The # is on the website.

Z32 rear shocks fit on s13s with Z spindles but continue reading please----> If you buy the shock assembly complete with spring attached you have to redrill your shock towers or compress the spring and readjust (twist) the upper mount. You will now be able to fit 3-5 babies in your new wheel gap.
