Z32 rear knuckle - yes, but what about the subframe?

According to my searching, you can use Z32 knuckles in the rear, they are aluminum and much lighter. Also, the rear shock mount is different.What about the actual subfram itself?

Has anyone tried that?

yes,it fits with the brakes and backing plates.I have them,can't put them on yet,I don't have the lower part of the coilover that connects to it.

There's no benefit to changing out to a Z subframe (that's how I interpret your question). You're just best to leave the S-chassis subframe in and bolt up the Z uprights.

Yes, you interperted the question correctly. I was seeing if there was an advantage. Different mounting points, stonger/lighter, etc.

Sometimes mounting points that are moved by a 1/4 inch, have a huge effect on the bumpsteer.
