i got my first project Z a couple weeks ago and just finished putting the whole interior back together, alot of tinkering to get it running right and replaced a broken rear sway bar and struts. As i tried to install my aftermarket cd player, i realized that there isnt any power running through the wires . does any one know where i should start looking for a possible cause to this? i figured it could be fuses but ive checked them all and i believe its some kind of short in the wiring, any ideas?

Did you have the factory Bose sysetm? If so they're notorious for being problematic.

im goin through a stereo replacemnet myself, and this bose system doesnt seem to be very reliable in any aspect. hopefully once you get your head unit figured out you're amplifiers wont be busted like mine were. if you hear intense buzzing (typically out of the passenger side speaker area) you're going to have to disconnect the amplifiers in the doors and direct-connect the wires from the head unit to the speakers.

also... check the stupid ****. i cant tell you how many times i flipped out about something just to find out it was something simple like a blown fuse.
