Hey all,

Just saw this on ebay. Seems to be a cheap alternative to buying 300zx parking brake cables and splicing. Anyone have any experience with this product? Am I right in assuming that if you get this, you won't need the z32 cables?

You will still need the z32 cables, that kit looks like it attaches to the end of the z32 cables and then to your ebrake bracket thats attached to the ebrake cable from your ebrake handle.for an s13, you don't really need those unless you fabricate your own bracket as Dave Coleman did on SCC's project silvia:http://www.sportcompactcarweb....ilvia/

but i'm sure they make things a lot easier

p.s. in case you didn't know, the 300z's cables are too short, thats where the problems of using them/splicing them comes into play

hmm...mine was less than 2 bux. 2 ft of cloth hanging wire and corresponding clips go a long way.

Yeha I know about the splicing, but I was hoping the kit would go the other way, and utilize the stock 240 cables...

Nah,

I'd still have to get the 300z cables anyways. Splicing isn't too bad.

I hope yours goes better, mine has been a nightmare. Damn collars keep popping off. Be better off welding the lines together.
