Z32 maf wiring to sr harness. please confirm

alrighty guys
so i have the maf wired this way

sr wiring harness ............................ z32 maf
white 5 v -------------------------------------- white 5 v
nothing --------------------------- black ground--- ground to chassi
black ground ------------------------------------- orange ground
black/ wht stripe 12v constant ---------- black / wht stripe 12v constant




now i read that the two ground should be combined but my last time i wired one in i had one wire going to the chassi to ground. but you think the black should go to black and the orange to ground. or i read you should just combine them
