Z32 MAF voltage

I am hitting up to 4.5 volts at full boost (16 psi on t28) and high RPM on my Z32 MAF. And i am even able to make it hit 4 v just revving very high in neutral. This obviously doesn't seem to be correct. I have cleaned the element, and made sure the wiring is correct. My car runs perfectly on these voltages some how, and put power down just as is it supposed to. I can't figure out how this is possible since i shouldn't be even close to maxxing out the MAF, but 4.5 v is a little close to 5 for my comfort.
