Im not 100% sure but to give you a quick response. The Z32 Maf runs different volts than the SR so the ECU wouldnt be reading the air properly. You can reprogram it or you may just be able to change it with something like an SAFC or possibly something simpler.

yes and no...if you go w/ JWT they will tune it to be used on your car...

OR if you have a apexi S-AFC there is an option to run the z32 mafs...so its plug and play...u just set it throught the afc...

stock ecu, with nothing else, no...

Hey,

You have two choices

1) Control Z32-MAF with SAFC2) Tune ecu (jwt)

ALthough i am running option 1 right now, i didn't wanna do # 2 since it will be expensive and it will need to be done again when i upgrade turbo and injectors.........so i will do that only one time and save money as well.....

i am running s14 sr20det in a 95 240. stock turbo and injectors...but all other bpu's......

I have some pics to show you regarding maf setup.......

No, that's just the Z32 plug. It won't retune your ECU for you. You'll have to have someway to tell the ECU what the hell the new voltages mean.

Is there a specific year from the z32 that the maf will work? N/A or turbo will work?

i THINK they are the same. I mean, if i were an accountant at nissan, i wouldn't put two different mafs on basically the same car. But, then again, i'm not 100% sure.

22680 30P00 is the proper 300ZX MAFS part number you want, look for this on the side of the MAFS.

Heres all you need to know about different MAFS choices, need to translate it though... http://www10.plala.or.jp/s15/3d_airflow.htm

Yes gray I know, I never said that it would retune your ECU, did I?
