i wired in my z32 maf and i am getting a 100% airflow reading with the ignition on. when the car is running it will go down the airflow count down instead of up. wtf?

ok i think i found the problem. in sensor select the flap setting was 0 0 so i changed it to 1 1 and it reads 0% airflow now. correct or not on that setting? i have a JWT ecu for z32 maf and 550's so all the safc setting would be the same as a stock maf correct?

shouldn't settings be for stock MAF since the JWT ecu allready knows its a z32 maf?

yes they are stock settings. 5in 5 out but i was not sure about the flap setting. just leave it 0 0 or 1 1?

What was the jwt ecu programmed for?For stock ecu it is 2in 5 out Almost positive(it's listed in the safc manual) If your JWT ECU is programmed for ecu then you can do any 1:1 combos whether it is 1:1 2:2 3:3 etc. whichever gives you best idle "This is MY" understanding of how it works

stock maf is 5in 5 out thats what you use when you run z32 maf as well cause the ecu reads it as stock.

shouldnt the sensor type be hotwire and not flap?

and i would think you would use 2 in - 2 out to keep the z32 characteristic curve.

some people say its 2 in 2 out some say its 5 in 5 out. it all depends on the individual's car. me and anthony and nissanfanatic personally runs 6 in 6 out and that seems to work best for us. and yes it should be a hot wire type not flap.
