If you have access to and the money to dyno tune your car...then get the 3 bar map setup for sure. If you want a "plug and play" option to upgrade your airflow from your SR20 MAF then get the Z32. My buddy put a MAP sensor in his Evo and has been too stubborn to go get it dyno tuned and he hasn't been able to get the "hickups" out his powerband yet. But he doesn't know enough about tuning to be messing with a full stand alone like the EMS by himself anyways. You'll be able to get a slightly finer tune with the MAP.

I don't think the cobra maf is the same. At one time the general thing was the cobra could do like 350whp and the 300zx could do 500 but I am not sure if that is still the case.

If you get a map it simply requires a plug that goes to your AEM and a vacuum line from the motor/intake manifold. It simply reads vac/boost.

Use the 3.5 bar AEM map sensor and have it tuned for that. You run a vacuum line from the intake manifold to the sensor, like mentioned in the previous post.

AEM has a startup map for using a map sensor on the S13.

I had mine mounted on the intake manifold as shown in the pic, but now it is tucked inside the curl of the intake manifold.

What about an intake air temp sensor? Tuning for amount of air being consumed is not only measured by pressure but temperature of that air too.

Any noticable differences between MAP and MAFS setups? Does it run smoother, etc, etc??

iirc, map setups are easier to tune. you can run open bov. uhhh... that's all i can think of now.

Yes you do

Your MAF wiring has nothing to do with with MAP/IAT wiring, all that is completely different.
