Yes, it needs to be reprogrammed for the larger MAF, and whatever else you’re running. This is why it’s best to get the injectors, MAF, and larger turbo (more boost); all at the same time. Then send off the ECU to Jim Wolf Technology or the like with a description of injector size, MAF, and boost levels; so they can map out a new injector pulse width to achieve the optimal fuel curve. Even with all this, it is still necessary to have an SAFC2 to make fine adjustments at the dyno.

You can also cut cost, cut corners, and cut motor life by messing with your fuel curve without the use of a wideband O2 sensor (part of being Dyno tuned), but you would still need an SAFC2.

Let me just say, Do not buy sh^t from E-Bay unless you know its name brand. Otherwise it probably won't work as it said it would. Quickest fix, unless you are turning the boost up, is to get a stock MAF for your engine and get rid of that z32 MAF. Once again the only thing I might buy would be the SAFC2 off of e-bay from a reputable seller.

Before looking into getting an item similiar to this. Check 2 main things before doing so.

One being, this item seems to be a flashed chip ONLY. Meaning, if your ECU does not have a daughterboard capable of switching through different chips, it will be a PITA to remove your stock chip, install this one & vice versa if this chip doesn't seem to work out.

Second being, even though it is flashed for a specific ECU, there are many factors this chip can control such as fuel map, ignition map, rev limit and so forth. Depending on where you live, many factors such as climate and altitude can affect the effectiveness of this chip. What may work wonders for one person, may work like *** for another.

Also check which ECU you are using. The SR20 has different variations. Although the only major difference that seems to be different from all the others is the zenki S14, as far as I know.

As good compared to what? The e-manage blue/ultimate work fine and allow you to change the maf settings. The whole reason you can't use the z32 maf on your ecu is because it runs at different voltages. You can get yourself and ecu tune and not have to mess with anything, or you could get a piggyback(e-manage,safc) and change the maf and fuel settings yourself.
