I am in the process of tuning my RB25 with a Power FC and the Z32 MAF. The issue Im having is that when logging its shows that the MAF load point is very high at idle and it never changes. The MAF voltage does change but it stays around 3.25v which is also very high for idle. Does anyone have any ideas on why the MAF could be reading so high at idle? Thanks

Did you make sure to wire it correctly? The PFC will only display the value that it sees from the MAF itself. Post up how you wired it so we can make sure it's all kosher.

Here is how I wired it on an S14:

Z32 MAF Wire Color -- RB25 Wire Color

Thick White wire -- Orange/Blue wireWhite wire (inside gray sheath) -- Black/White wireBlack wire (inside gray sheath) & Black wire outside sheath -- White/Blue wire

There is an orange wire from the MAF that isnt connected.

Also I just checked voltages and the thick white wire reads about 3.2v and the thin white wire reads 13v. It looks like the signal is still reading aver 3.0v at idle and it should be a little over 1.0v. Im wondering if this is a faulty MAF

sounds like a wiring issue the maf should never have more than 5v going to it...why are you using s14 wiring?

The signal voltage isnt over 5v, its 3.2v. This is still way to high for idle. I cant figure why it would read so high. It seems the wiring is correct because when I log it it shows around 3.2v.

I figured it out. I switched the 12v power and the signal wire and she started up and pured like a tiger. Now its time for tuning.
