you just connect all the wires with the original MAF wires. they are exactly the same color. there will be one extra wire that doesn't match with anything on the 240sx. all you do is ground that to the chassis and you'll be fine. but be sure the get a MAF with the harness clip still in it.

the z32 maf can read more air. the stock 240sx maf maxes out around 250-260rwhp. the z32 maf is good to about 550rwhp

Make sure you have something to tell the ECU you have a Z32 MAFS (ie. ROM Tune, SAFC, Emanage...) the VQ curve is different than a stock 240 MAFS signal, so simply wiring it up to a stock car wont work.

The wiring is the easy part to figure out.

The real problem is trying to figure out how much more air the maxima MAF can flow over the S13 MAF.......once thats figured out, you then have to find an ECU that can compensate for the extra air flow.

Does E-Manage have a plug and play MAF setting for using a Maxima MAF?

i thought maxima guys upgraded to z32 maf's too. i think my z32 maf is from an early year and all s14's use the same maf so it shouldnt matter between obdI and obdII

Look for the "N62" code on the orange tag. It is on the opposite side of the "box" on top of the tube. Its the last three characters on the second code.
