Ive got a 300zx tt (stock) with a manual trans. Just a question out of curiosity for u Z32 owners.... At what RPM would u launch from a complete stop??? lol The reason I ask is that im fairly new to driving a 5 spd and I purchased my Z about a month ago. I have had many ricers revving their engines at me at stoplights but i never really raced any of them because im still trying to get a feel for my car and i dont wanna make myself look like an idiot by losing to a car that i should smoke by a mile lol. so yes if u have any tips please do tell .

the goal with a good launch is to put as much power to the ground as possible, and not burn out. YOu should try 3500-4500, see which is better for you.

you do a high rev clutch dump on a Z32 and your gonna spin tires, you'll develop a feel over time, street tires aren't gonna handle much shockload without breaking away, your not driving an MR2, you have the power to roast your tires, just start playing, rev it a little and slip the cltuch and see how it feels

Depends on your tires and your power output. I'd say 2750-3250

Um you should never have to worry about looking dumb in front of ricers on a launch because you shouldn't waste the Z's power on them lol

If I had a dime for every race I got challenged to, I would have a lot of extra tuning and matinence to do just for some cheap import appetizers

I would agree with most of these guys on the types of RPMs, but as the car changes it will change along with conditions and such of the road and temp. Have fun just playing around at it will come to you
