RB25DET
z32 ecu with Nistune (type 2)
z32 mafs
1000cc injectors
idle fuel pressure @ 20psi
1000cc rochester injectors

Using a z32 ecu to run a rb25 with 1000cc injectors and e85. I've lowered all the enrichment maps, lowered ttp min to 1, resized k value for the injectors and set fuel pressure to 20psi @ idle. Still after all this the car refuses to idle at anything thing higher than 10.5-11.5afr

Played with injector latency and k value with the car warmed up. After resizing for the injectors the k value is 112. I've dropped it down to 50 with no change what so ever. I can play with the latency value and it will effect how smooth the idle is, but afr still stays in the high 10's low 11's......Not sure what else i can do to lean out the car @ idle.

Tried to take the car for a spin and its bucks and spits when under light cruising. AFR stays in the 10's until about 3K rpm when it will finally jump into the 12's. Injection time when viewing in consult is 1.36 - 1.40

Use the type 2 z32 ADR to view the tune

Thought nistune was limited to 740cc injectors?

nope, its controls the 1000's now. After messing with it a while i'm not convinced that nistune is as good as i thought it was orignally. It might just be with z32 ecu, but it wont hold a consistant afr. While cruising i can tweak the tables to get a 14.7 afr and going down the highway a few minutes later it will jump up to 17 or down to a 12 so i'm constantly changing the tables. Never had this problem with nistune on a ka. The owner is a bit fed up with all the problems and has the swap for sale. He is doing a big single turbo lsx swap soon

That sounds more like a mechanical/electrical issue than a tune issue, then...
The bucking at light throttle makes me think boost leak.

All that was fixed...only problem now was with the wondering afr and wiring in a resistor to bypass the knock sensor

I read on a supra forum about a car using an aeromotive fpr (very reliable) and he had wandering afrs. For some reason, as the motor got warmer, the FPR was failing off and on and causing the AFRs to wander.
