is there a reason why there arent any Z32 drift cars? i know they are heavy, but i have some nice suspension and great power (for a N/A) and it is Very easy to get it sideways. ive seen professional supras, soarers, chasers, skylines, etc... i cant imagine a Z32 is much heavier than some of those. Didnt Blitz have a 4 door skyline GTR? and the chasers are sedans too. anyway, just thought id spark some imaginations.

Easily fixed with reasonably priced aftermarket parts. I'd imagine that the main reason is because they just weren't as popular in Japan.

i have been to 11 drift competitions in mainland as a spectatror. and yes they throw the 300zx around.

HICAS. my skyline has it. 90 bucks i got a hicas lock. no problems. got plenty of friends that drift with hicas.

It's not so much that the car is heavy but that the weight is not very even. They get sidways well but they also spin. When they pull it of though they look pretty sick.

Its not so much the stock weight that matters, but how much of that stock weight you can lose.

Its not real easy to shave a meaningful amount of weight off of a Z32, and the way that the weight is distributed is a lot less than ideal.

that big 4-door skyline has nearly 50/50 weight distribution, and is the most powerful car in D1. It rocks ***!

Good question i always thought it was because of the weight but i didnt think about all of those other cars. It dosent matter imo, if you love to drift just get out there and slide it. And its even better if you are the only one out there with a 300zx.

I used to drift my z32 tt it was pretty fun till i rolled it. Georgia country roads suck, but it shows that even with all that weight it can still slide with the best of them.

That was Lukes Red 300ZX TT. He had brand new R compounds on, he mainly AutoXs. He does occasionally get it sideways. I had the dark blue S13 at tire rack. Nick
