Z32 differential carrier length

I recently bought a Z32 VLSD from a 92 NA 300ZX to replace the open diff in my 98 240SX. Ive heard all the horror stories with the J30 rear end being 3/4" longer where the propeller shaft bolts up, and have even heard that the stock 240 VLSD is the same way, Id like to be prepaired when I do the swap. What I want to know is the Z32 housing the same length as the stock open diff housing?
