New member. This site is awesome, THANK YOU!!!
My car was running, but the clutch pedel kept going out; hitting the floor. I replaced the master and slave and it worked again for a bit... but then went out again so I decided to replace the clutch.... and a bunch of other stuff at the same time (bad idea). Now that everything is back together, (i hate to say) it cranks but will not start! Fuel pressure is good and plugs are sparking. I sprayed a little starter fluid and it started for a second or 2. From what I've heard and read, it seems like a grounding issue??? I have checked everything several times and have not found any grounding points i have missed. checked resistance at PTU and coil packs and it reads good. pulled off the CAS and it tested good.
Some lights on my dash stay lit while the key is in the ON position (battery, check engine, seatbelt, door open, lights(this one usually comes on when i press the brake pedal)), while others will not turn on at all (tach, speedometer, fuel, etc.). When i try to turn on the headlights, the High beams turn on only, and the tail lights do not come on (but the brake lights work when I press the pedal).

Is there a ground that i may have missed? I am stumped! :tisk:

REPLACED: Z1 organic clutch, Z1 lightweight flywheel, Z1 pressure plate, pilot bushing, clutch fork assembly, clutch master and slave cylinders, replaced clutch line with a direct braided steel hose, replaced air box with a cone filter, replaced most vacuum hoses with silicone, replaced rubber fuel lines (except for the one on the fuel rail), all 4 valve cover seals, plenum seal, rear main seal, various other seals / gaskets, Megan rear transmission mount, Megan short shifter, headers, exhaust pipe gaskets, fuel pressure regulator, fuel filter, platinum spark plugs

DELETED: PCV valves and hoses, deleted EGR unit and solenoid and hoses, deleted water lines through the plenum

I also took off the entire dash and most of the interior panels and reinstalled them

Are you absolutely sure you do not have the Injectors and coil packs mixed up? It wont throw a code if they are mixed, it just wont start.

Also make sure you are getting fuel, are the plugs wet or dry? If dry, you are not getting fuel, if wet, you are just not igniting properly, see above.

For the lights, check your fuses. This happens when a fuse is blown that attach to the turn signals. Just not sure exactly which one.

Thanks! Problem solved! Plugs were dry when I pulled them. Everything was connected properly, but the wires in the injector harnesses were loose! A friend of mine figured it out when he brought his noid light and electrical tester. Tightened them up so I t's working now, but I am going to see where I can get some replacement harnesses soon.
And as for the lights, it was a blown 10a fuse. I just missed it the first time going though all the fuses.
Thanks for the response!
