z32 coilpack with ca?

would z32 coilpacks work with the ca18det?

I am pretty sure they will work, you might have to arrange the wiring for it as I am not sure if the pin out on their connector matchs the ca ones. But you can definitely get them to work, not hard at all.

from memory the Z32 coilpacks wont physically fit on a CA, because they are laid out different ( but maybe it was another set of coil packs I was looking at? ).

I have RB20DET coil packs on my CA....they do need re-wiring ( only because of the shape of the plug ). If the Z32 ones do fit in the CA....then they will work fine.

The Z32 coil packs will work but yes, as Datsunboy says, they are physcially different and they won't screw in, so bascially you need to fabricate an adapter so they can sit solid without any movement.

I just bought 4 brand new ones form Advance auto parts, I think. They are from a '88 Pulsar SE and bolt directly in. It was a little over $200 for 4 of them.

yes the ones from the 1.6 and 1.8 pulsar work!
