Correct.jltibbs wrote:I do believe they are shorter, thus the dump factor.
So these would just bolt on to to my 92 G50 with no other mods? I'm considering lowering the car and still haven't decided on air or coilovers. How did they feel?Damicci wrote:500 obo
would like to move these. they are just sitting in my office. keeping me company.
you HAVE to have coilovers to get a good air suspension setup. air bags on factory struts is FTLHaitian_King wrote:Guess I'll just stick with the air suspension then....Thanks.

Just buy them and save up for the bags to put on.Haitian_King wrote:Guess I'll just stick with the air suspension then....Thanks.
Really? I was under the impression that it was either/or for a VIP setup. When I asked the board before about which route I should take, I got differing answers with some recommending coilovers and others recommending air.lasoyafan wrote:

s13 toe arms F&R, z32 camber arms F&R, g50 or z32 coilovers, new bushings (I prefer urethane for longer life since you will be getting heavier wear being lowered), if you go air then you obviously need an air setup.Haitian_King wrote:

Exactly what are the proper components for lowering a G50 for VIP?
Thanks.lasoyafan wrote:

This is the best route to take imo. If you go any other way you are wasting money in the long run.
Heres what I spent on mine approximately.Haitian_King wrote:
Thanks.
I had budgeted about $4k to start with. I had planned to start with an air setup and a wheel and tire package. I figured they'd be about $2k a piece. I guess I have to go back to the drawing board.
Sorry to jack the thread, I didn't mean for it to turn out this way. Oh well, we're here now, no sense in stopping.lasoyafan wrote:

Wheels & Tires $2000Coilovers $1700Camber Arms $300Toe Arms $250Energy 300zx poly bush $170Total $4420
That doesn't include the other set of 4 tires I had to buy in the next month due to rubbing issues or the braking upgrade. I figure a good air system from Driftgirl (she seems to have the best kit for the best price) on VSC will cost you $2000. Of course you could save a grand by getting 300zx coilovers but that's your call.
